I am an archaeologist specialized in bioarchaeology, with a strong focus on archaeobotany, phytoliths, and plant microremains. My academic training has been oriented toward understanding past human, environment interactions, subsistence strategies, and mobility through microscopic and biomolecular evidence.
I have worked with leading research institutions such as the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Barcelona, where I gained experience in laboratory analysis, sample preparation, and the interpretation of microbotanical and bioarchaeological data. These experiences allowed me to develop a solid interdisciplinary approach combining archaeology, biology, and geochemistry.
I am currently pursuing a PhD based on a necropolis in Sabadell (Catalonia), where I investigate the mobility and diet of past communities through stable isotope analysis (carbon and nitrogen), plant microremains trapped in dental calculus, and dental microwear and microstriation analysis using dental molds. This multi-proxy methodology allows me to reconstruct both long-term die
