Together with his archaeological team, Prof. Dr. Lyudmil Vagalinski trains students from Bulgaria and other European countries at the sites of the ancient city of Heraclea Sintica near the village of Rupite, Petrich region and the Roman colony Deultum near the village of Debelt, Burgas region.

The National Archaeological Reserve “Deultum - Debelt” offers not only an on-site museum but also a modern accommodation base. The field practice of the American students at Heraclea Sintica in the period 2012-2014 was carried out in cooperation with the American Research Center in Sofia.
